Distinguished Young Women.... that just rolls of the tongue doesn't it..
This year was so much fun! My sister Misty directed Madisons DYW (formerly known as Jr. Miss) again this year. I got to make up the fitness routine (the state director said it was one of the best she has ever seen!) and the Poise routine.. and just helped with production.. backstage.. ect. I LOVE the girl that won. She is so kind and such a happy person. She will be great to work with! Get ready for a picture overload!
This picture gets to stay medium.. because I was wearing my size 2 dress from way back when I competed in Miss Idaho.... I looked pretty good in it when I was standing straight and sucking in.. but in this picture I thought it might be cool to stick my butt/hip area out as far as I could so it could be documented in peoples pictures for eternity... Now that I think about it, I shouldn't even of put this picture up.. Or said anything about my hips.. cause your all now looking at it... stop looking at it!

We had ALOT of fun! I got to be backstage with all the girls.. It was a blast!
(o and im wearing my size 26 jbrands from miss idaho in this picture... look.. they are done up and everything! check me out!! no Im not bragging.. Im just glad to see all this working out we've been doing paid off!... even if it was just for one night..)

I have been coaching NON Stop lately! Im proud to say all three of my girls won Interview at Bonneville County's Jr. Miss this year, (including the girl that Won the title) and I had an interview winner @ Rigbys DYW too!! I love being involved with these kinds of things.. thanks for having me help Misty!
It seems like just yesterday we were at State! I can't believe it's been over four years already! How fun that you can help out with Madison's program.. Makes me want to get back doing things with DYW again! You are looking *fabulous*! You're totally giving me motivation to get back in super good shape again post-baby! Miss you tons and tons girly! Next time I'm up in Rexburg we need to try to get together to catch up! Loves!!

ReplyDeleteLOVED the pictures. I'm not surprised to hear you did a great job with the fitness routine. I wish I could have gone to the pageant! Awhile ago I was asked to be a judge for a mock interview for the Madison girls and I think I actually interviewed the girl who won. I'm not surprised to hear that she took the title, she seemed very genuine.
